At the same time, the aim is to produce useful and long-lasting products from plastic waste. But although it is possible to recycle some of the plastic waste that arises, consumption must still be minimized in order to achieve high recycling rates and initiate a circular economy.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Genuine & local plastic recycling with the lowest possible energy consumption is costly, but the resulting products make a valuable contribution. At Johannplasto, the plastic waste is sorted, cleaned, shredded and put into new shapes under pressure and heat by hand.

In addition to tools such as the screwdriver seen in the video, Johannplasto also produces hanging lamps and table lamps. Maybe there is something for you too (link in bio).

Because the lamps are electrical housings, it must be ensured that they comply with the prescribed standards. The results are that PP & HDPE can both be used for the lamps! ♻️💡

-Glow wire for 30s (550°C, 750°C)
-Does it burn?
-If it burns, it must be extinguished within 60s
