I had to repair my injection machine and had problems with a special type of Polypropylene, so a little delay at the moment. Everything is fixed now and I am back in production ♻️✌️

At the same time, the aim is to produce useful and long-lasting products from plastic waste. But although it is possible to recycle some of the plastic waste that arises, consumption must still be minimized in order to achieve high recycling rates and initiate a circular economy.

Genuine & local plastic recycling with the lowest possible energy consumption is costly, but the resulting products make a valuable contribution. At Johannplasto, the plastic waste is sorted, cleaned, shredded and put into new shapes under pressure and heat by hand.

In addition to tools such as the screwdriver seen in the video, Johannplasto also produces hanging lamps and table lamps. Maybe there is something for you too (link in bio).

💪 270g of plastic waste can be transformed into this product combination (1 screwdriver, 2 cases).
🧐 This is the first result and we are not 100% happy with it, but the solutions are in mind. Because the case is a complex geometry and has some thin areas there are problems with the big shrinkage of HDPE(♻️2).
💡 Next versions will come out of PP and some adjustments for the injection machine are needed to fill the big volume.

New screwdriver version! 🪛
Screwdriver fix:
•Option 1: Cross head PZ2
•Option 2: Slotted head 1×5,5mm
For some jobs you just need a solid and fixed screwdriver head without a bit holder. For example the space where you have to screw is small or you have to use the slotted screwdriver as a lever. For that these screwdriver have a fixed metal shaft
You will see “♻️-PLASTIC” on one side and “JOHANNPLASTO” on the other.
